Varna Budo Camp

Second Open Jodo Taikai in Varna, Bulgaria 

On the 3rd of July two members of the DJodoB participated at the Open Jodo Taikai at XVI Summer Budo Camp.

21st Open German Jodo Championships

The 21st Open German Championships are over and there were more participants than ever before! Many thanks for the active participation and the many exciting fights. Also many thanks as always to the judges for their efforts and to Louis Vitalis Sensei for organising the tournament.

Of course we congratulate all the winners in the individual and team fights.

Update European Jodo Championships 2025

The date for the European Jodo Championships has been moved back about one week. The championships now take place from September the 26th to 28th in Zielona Gora, Poland.

Update OGJC 2025

Great news! The venue for the Open German Jodo Championships in Augsburg has been finalised. You can find the adress in the updated seminar details. In addition the registration is now open. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Augsburg.

23rd European Jodo Championships 2025

The venue for the 23rd European Jodo Championships has now been finalised. The championships will take place in Zielona Gora, Poland. The date has been set for September the 19th to 21st. We wish the Polish Kendo Federation every success with the organisation.

EJC fotos and Munich Jodo seminar 2025

You can now view the official photos of the EJC 2024 in Espoo! Many thanks again to the FKA.

The seminar description for the seminar in Munich in February is also online. Examinations up to 4th Dan will be offered there. Everyone is cordially invited to participate.

Special Jodo seminar

Great news! There will be the first jodo seminar organiced in Essen with René van Amersfoort in November. The seminar details are now online.

22nd European Jodo Championships

This year's European Jodo Championships took place on 7th and 8th of September in Espoo, Finland. Many thanks to the FKA (Finnish Kendo Association) for organising this event! It was two days full of exciting fights and close rulings.

In the individual category, several medals were won again this year, including the new Kantosho honour for the best Tachi.

Furthermore we congretulate David Siegel, Luise Kirch, Felix Scheuermann and Philipp Henschke for winning the European Team Taikai Championship!

Results EJC 2022 in Stevenage, UK

After a 2-year break due to corona, the European Jodo Championships took place. Everybody was very happy and motivated to show what we had learned over the past few years.

 At the 20th European Jodo Championship from 16.-18. September the German selection was able to win 5 medals in the indiviual categories. A great performance!

Yondan category: KANTOSHO for David Siegel!

Godan Category: KANTOSHO for Cenet Bauer!
