DEUTSCHER JODO BUND e.V.

The German Jodo Federation

The Deutscher Jodo Bund e.V. (DJodoB) was founded in March 1997 as a merger of various jodo clubs and jodo practitioners.

It is associated with the Deutscher Kendobund e.V. (DKenB) via a cooperation agreement.

Members of the DJodoB are thus able to obtain internationally recognized graduations according to the rules of the European Kendo Federation (EKF) and the International Kendo Federation (FIK) and to take part in European Jodo Championships.

The modern forms of Zen Nihon Kendo Renmei Jodo of the All Japan Kendo Federation (AJKF) as well as the kata of the traditional Shindo Muso Ryu school are taught.
